FS: GMT II 16710, first year "R" serial,complete set

Here is a rare opportunity to purchase a "first year production" GMT II model 16710 (serial R8XXXXX) which is a complete set. This is a very original watch that recently had the case professionally refinished and is free from corrosion, damage or dings. The original tritium dial and tritium hands are in excellent condition and free from the typical corrosion found on these early 16710 dials and hands. The original "Coke" bezel insert is in very nice condition with a couple of very light surface scuffs. The original bracelet is an Oyster 93150 with all 12 links, 501b end links with an "O" clasp code and minimal stretch.
(The bracelet code at the end of the style number found on the warranty paper is 9315 which indicates the original bracelet as a 93150 Oyster.)
The watch was examined by my watchmaker and is in proper working order and not in need of a service at this time. It is warrantied by my local watchmaker until 6/30/18. (The buyer is responsible for all shipping expenses if the movement needs any attention.)
This sale includes the original green hang tag with serial number, COSC hang tag, warranty paper, booklets, calendar and other items depicted in the photos below. This set is almost 30-years-old and is very complete considering it is a a first year production GMT II 16710.
