Do you have an advice on how to reduce full size pictures to a size that will work as an avatar. I have tried with various file reduction programs and to get to the recommend 6kb size. To date no luck. Any thoughts?

I used paint shop pro to reduce mine. Avatars need to be under 100 pixels. Mine is 90px by 61px.
