Below are some photos and graphic charts depicting the measurements for the later, post gilt era Rolex GMT-MASTER 1675 and 16750 bezel and all GMT 1675/16750 crystal retaining ring which seals the crystal and secures the bezel to the watch. (The measurements could be off by a tenth of a millimeter on some of the dimensions but when comparing these sizes to another bezel or crystal retaining ring, it should be very close to the sizes given here.)
Bezels and crystal retaining rings can provide hours of frustration when trying to fit them properly. It is not uncommon when replacing a bezel on a watch (whether it is a new or used bezel) for it to not fit properly or snap to the bezel retaining ring - whether it be too loose or too tight. My best advice is - if the bezel you are trying to install on your Submariner, Sea Dweller or GMT does not fit or snap on to the crystal retaining ring properly is to seek the expertise of a qualified watchmaker. We are talking tenths of millimeters for them to fit properly, and there is a good chance that a bezel assembly that was fit to another watch might not work on the watch you are trying to place it on.
