Below are a few photos of two GMT Mark I dials. One is a normal, unaltered dial and the other has been "cooked" or artificially aged in an oven or with some other form of heat. It is easy to distinguish these "cooked" dials by the gold or brown color to the scripts, seconds markers and Rolex coronet. The markers will also exhibit a yellow or brown color, sometimes exhibiting a glazed look. The dials may also exhibit a brownish to brownish-black color caused by the heat.
